My goal is to provide short podcasts (they are all between 15-30 minutes) covering topics that I find interesting that I find interesting from around "the world."

And of course, I mention probably their most famous alum, one Wayne Brady who has had a successful career with another Disney entity - ABC. For the sake of being accurate: the name of the group is SAK Theatre Company. • Show #13 - My CastMember experience (part 3)

    06/04/2019 Duration: 25min

In this episode, I finish my thoughts about being a CM by telling a couple of fun stories and wondering what-if? What if I had stayed? The what-if scenario plays out in my mind all the time. Sure I have no regrets, but everyone asks themselves this regularly day, don't they? What if I had done something differently? I talk briefly about my decision to leave, and the reasons for it. Naturally (as most men will tell you is the case when there's a "life altering" decision to be made) there was a woman involved. Whether I was right or wrong at the time is irrelevant. It was complicated, and I had to move on. Enough said. It was a most interesting time in my life, and I'll never forget it, and always treasure it. I do have more stories to tell, and will sprinkle them into other podcasts. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/daves-disney-view/message

  • Show #12 - My CastMember experience (part 2)

    06/04/2019 Duration: 29min

There's not much to add to this podcast. I worked hard and grew in responsibility. I tell some stories about what it was like.  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/daves-disney-view/message

  • Show #11 - My CastMember experience (part 1)

    06/04/2019 Duration: 26min

By far, the number one question I get asked when anyone learns I was a CM is "what was *that* like?" Back in 1992, I decided to be a CastMember. I talk about my experiences with central casting, and what "traditions" was all about. For me, its a fun trip down memory lane. I hope you enjoy what I have to say about it. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/daves-disney-view/message

  • Show #10 - What is EPCOT?

    06/04/2019 Duration: 22min

Okay, I'll admit it: this is my weakest podcast. The editing is not what it should be, and the background music is too loud. But, I think the content is good. I talk about what EPCOT was - and is - and provide some insights along with Walt's audio about it.  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/daves-disney-view/message

  • Episode #9 - A day in the Magic Kingdom (part 2)

    06/04/2019 Duration: 25min

There was so much going on in my day-trip! I had to go back and add a second part to the day. Enjoy!  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/daves-disney-view/message

  • Show #8 - A Day in The Magic Kingdom

    06/04/2019 Duration: 27min

The week before President's Day, my brother visited WDW, and invited me to come along. How could I say no? I brought my mp3 recorder and bring you some audio from around the Magic Kingdom. This was a really fun one-day trip. We saw as much as we could, and had fun catching up....  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/daves-disney-view/message

  • Show #7 - Dave's Disney News for 4-4-10

    06/04/2019 Duration: 29min

This is my first news segment, and I talk about the goings-on at Disney world. I talk about the Fantasyland expansion, the Tron-o-rail, changes coming to Star Tours and more! Also...among the things I talk about is a relationship between the University of Oregon and Disney, which immediately generated some emails and discussion. I'll have to delve into this more in a future podcast.  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/daves-disney-view/message

  • Show #6 - Mesa Verde Times

    06/04/2019 Duration: 36min

To round out the discussion about Horizons, I talked with Hoot Gibson one of the guys who runs Mesa Verde Times website . I had a blast talking with Hoot. He told me some GREAT stories about his time jumping off the attraction in order to document it completely. He's a witty guy, and this was one of the more fun interviews I've ever done. I hope you get a lot out of it! His passion for the attraction is evident.  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/daves-disney-view/message

  • Horizons ride-through - part 2 (Show #5)

    06/04/2019 Duration: 30min

Because of the length of the ride - and my verbose talk about it - I split this into a second podcast. Its like being there! Enjoy the ride all over again...  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/daves-disney-view/message
