He made arrangements with a gas station, then stood outside with his “Free Gas For Nurses” sign. “A lot of nurses waved. A lot of them held up their badges as they drove by and honked. People came up and donated money - homeless people came up and donated money,” Allen explains with a smile. “They (the homeless) had gone to these hospitals in the past.” Why did he do it?

By Richard Hunt You may not have heard how our armed forces deployed overseas are coping with the COVID-19 pandemic. We can help fill that knowledge gap by way of someone who is there. Chaplain Dan Thompson, a USAF Lt. Colonel, is based in Afghanistan. His ministry to the men and women serving our country has, out of necessity, changed a great deal since precautions got underway due to global pandemic. Even though the chaplain is now sharing faith wearing a mask and keeping social distancing, God is not hindered. “I tell you this last Sunday was just amazing. God literally rocked the house."

Many in the parking lots tuned to K-LOVE in their cars, prayed, praised, and sang aloud with the music. "It was surreal to be honest with you," says Pastor Eric, "and what happened was really unexpected to us."

K-LOVE's Monika Kelly talks to Jennifer Owens, a kindergarten teacher from Louisiana, who just finished treatment for cancer. With restrictions in place for COVID-19, her friends and family staged a huge parade to drive by her house. Jennifer is also a woman of great faith and is trusting God through it all.

Their church recently decided to help out area school districts by paying their outstanding school lunch debts. As a result of the congregation's generosity, they were able to pay off 11 school districts' lunch debt. Salem Church has now set up an angel fund to help their closest district in the future.
