Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 1 should have been a slam dunk for box office.  Kevin Costner behind and in front of the camera for a very large scale Western released in multiple theatrical chapters.  Somehow, though, it's not a box-office success. Anne Hathaway is terrific in this very well written and smart drama / romance.  She plays a 40-year old single mom who falls for and begins a romance with a 24-year old lead singer of a boy band.  There is trope and predictable here but also real and raw- probably owed to the R rating.       THE IDEA OF YOU, Dir.
