When we think about the time we spend living our lives for the Lord, we have a tendency to focus on duration. But God focuses on donation.  We focus on longevity, but God focuses on legacy.  We may hear someone say, “I’ve been saved for twenty years.”  And that may be true, but that person’s been out of God’s will for eighteen of those years.  So, when you join us for the next Treasured Truth, Pastor Ford will explain that he sees scripture indicating how at the judgment seat of Christ, that person will only get credit for the two years they were living in the will of God. We have to remember that our attitude is crucial when we are seeking forgiveness from another person.  People generally judge the seriousness of our asking forgiveness based on the way our words come from our mouths.  If we don’t approach the conversation with humility, then it will definitely complicate the whole process.  And on the next Treasured Truth, Pastor Ford will continue his message series called, “When I’m Sorry Isn’t Enough.” And he’ll dive more deeply into these concepts when you join us for the next Treasured Truth.
