  • Overcoming Cervical Cancer With Grace

    Tomeka was diagnosed with cervical cancer at age 34.  She has a 14 year old son and 13 and 9 year old daughters.  She's from Brandon, Mississippi.  She loves to decorate and helping others through community service. Tomeka was diagnosed through the SEE TEST and TREAT program  which provides women in need with free, cervical and breast cancer screening with same-day results. The program also provides women with the follow-up care they need if they receive a positive diagnosis, much like Tomeka did.  The See Test and Treat program is made possible through the philanthropic arm of the College of American Pathologists (CAP).     Even though I run a platform all about no judgement, I was in fact being a bit judgy on gratitude.   As a practicing Christian, I felt that gratitude was mostly for people who didn't pray.  Where as a Christian I was a prayer warrior and my gratitude my religion  How does that sound for judgement?
