She attended  dental school at the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston. She graduated in 2018 and completed an AEGD residency in 2019. During dental school, she became involved in organized dentistry and served in various leadership roles including President of the American Student Dental Association. After graduating, she returned to El Paso and practices outside of the city at La Clinica de Familia (FQHC) where she serves as a Dental Director for the site. She also serves as a part-time faculty member at the Woody L Hunt School of Dental Medicine. She was recenty named the Texas New Dentist of the Year. She has continued her involvement in organized dentistry by serving in numerous roles with organizations including the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Hispanic Dental Associaton, Texas Dental Association, Texas Academy
