We somehow succeed. We also delve into the weird photo of Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik in the new Sonic the Hedgehog movie.

Recorded on April 8, 2019 Dre and Pete are LIVE from Nostalgic Books and Comics and it was a very busy weekend! We watched Shazam last Thursday and we came away very happy with it. Dre also watched a whole lot of Wrestlemania 35 yesterday and he has a few thoughts about it. We also get into a philosophical discussion about Iron Man in Civil War.

Recorded on April 1, 2019 Dre and Pete come back to the Nostalgic Books and Comics podcast studio this week. It's April Fools Day and Dre rips this bogus holiday as usual. Pete drops an epic hammer on crappy Star Wars fans, Dre has begun the epic re-watch of the MCU prior to the release of Avengers Endgame and Dre gives his analysis of Last Week Tonight's awesome segment exposing the WWE.

Recorded on March 25, 2019 Dre and Pete are live this week from the Boyle Heights Arts Conservatory?!?! We had some internet issues for the live stream, but this audio version should have no problems! We talk about the new trailers that dropped last week for Stranger Things and Toy Story 4. The main topic this week is game streaming, we talk about the announcements of Google Stadia and Apple Arcade and how they could impact the way we play games in the near future.

Recorded on March 18, 2019 Dre and Pete are in the Nostalgic Books and Comics podcast studio. Dre has risen from a bad flu and come back to the mic! This week we talk about James Gunn getting re-hired to direct Guardians of the Galaxy vol 3! We also talk a little bit about the new Avengers Endgame trailer that dropped last week. Dre also talks about his frustration with Kingdom Hearts 3 and its overuse of cutscene videos.

Recorded on March 11, 2019 Dre and Pete are live from Nostalgic Books and Comics and we saw Captain Marvel last week. We really liked it and we talk about it in a spoiler free fashion. Dre also brings up how he finally saw the Mr Rogers documentary "Won't You Be My Neighbor" and how it wrecked him emotionally. Dre went to the Opera with his fiancee again and saw "The Clemency of Titus", Dre also saw "Fighting With My Family" and Pete watched "Skyscraper" and we discuss both, Steven Spielberg is being a dick to Netflix and finally the Nintendo Switch hits its 2 year anniversary.

Recorded on February 25, 2019 Dre and Pete are live once again from Nostalgic Books and Comics! This week Dre talks all about his experience at the SoCal Retro Gaming Expo this past weekend! There is a lot of talk about nostalgia and retro gaming. We also discuss the Oscar wins for Black Panther and Into the Spider-verse. Dre also implores you to go out and watch "The Favourite" simply because of how savage it is. It is Game of Thrones level of savage.

Dre's fiance Rosa took him to a Lucha VaVoom show last week and he learned A LOT about the behind the scenes working of pro wrestling and got to meet one of his favorite luchadors! We also talk about Netflix putting the final nail in the coffin of their Marvel shows and the release of Tetris 99 on Nintendo Switch.

Recorded on February 11, 2019 Dre and Pete are live from Nostalgic Books and Comics and tonight we talk about the issues the internet had with Will Smith's blue genie reveal in the new Aladdin trailer. This led us down a deep rabbit hole about how Disney is remaking all of their animated classics into live action movies and what movies we would want and not want to see remade.

Recorded on February 4, 2019 Dre and Pete sit down and ignore the Super Bowl, but we do talk about the movie trailers that dropped online that premiered there! More Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame! We also talk about the ridiculous Hobbs and Shaw trailer that came out last week! Finally we talk about how GameStop is no for sale anymore and this potentially affects the game industry.

We discussed the absurdity of the "Bird Box Challenge", how Alexandria Ocasio Cortez won over the hearts and minds of nerds all over, the weird bundling of streaming service that is potentially happening and Dre tries to explain the comic multiverse to Rosa and breaks his brain doing it!
