With the corona-virus outbreak impacting California, Indian Wells is slated to go on and we ask the WTF questions?? We get into the weeds of this issue especially with that comic public statement. Several hours after taping, the tournament turned off Fox News and cancelled the tournament. Of course, it goes without saying that they heard our full discussion and acted appropriately. Let's close this frigging 2020 Australian Open championships. This 2020 hasn't been of much good so far ... We break the impact and relevance of the men's finals as Dominic Thiem continue to put in all the hard work but still no cup. Djokovic continue to dominate in Melbourne and yet he still gets no love. Will Kenin's winning her major give her and her father the economic and social boost that they so desperately crave? How could Garbine let us down so much? All this and more and we erase this Australian Open 2020 from our minds and spirits. Can tennis ever be consistent on the rules and regulations? That's what I really want to know. Well I doubt if anyone's predictions came through especially on the women's side. That draw has all been busted wide open; been completely shredded. The entire thing belongs to the Shredder. The usual suspects are still there on the men's side including some Next Genners but some are looking shaky and might not survive the 4th round or even the quarters. So we are back for our season opener (6th season HURRAY!!!) and we begin with the Australian Open 2020 draw show. As the player battle elements of wind, sun and fire, us in the distance battle with a draw that remains unfinished. Note that this draw show was done as the final stage of qualies are set to begin. We are in the latter stages of the 2019 professional tennis year but there is still so much to discuss. As you know this podcast is produced by the fact that Roger Federer is still playing top level tennis and this week he won his 103rd title in his home country. There were other winners at home on the men's side as we got into all the results that we cared about.  Of course this is no slight to the ladies as they have two big events, the consolatory event in Zhuhai concluded and the top 8 compete for $4.1 million in Shenzhen.    We still have questions about Saudi Arabia but it seems no one else is wondering about the matter. So Russia was able to steal an Olympics and an election but it proved unable to take one measly US Open men's title. So we close out this event like our men's Runner's Up, Danill Medvedev.
