It’s Tuesday, and that can only mean one thing. No, not buy-one-get-one-free pizzas. Tracks! Us! A new episode! Exciting! So this one signals the start of a little run for us. For #002 – #005 we follow a new theme of North, East, South, West, one episode for each (we did warn you last week that we love a gimmick). Each episode varies slightly in format as we find our feet, but they’re all hopefully a good laugh and bring you a nice selection of music too.  This particular episode contains us debating which city takes the crown as king of the Northern England music scene, a tear-jerkingly good Neil Young track and us humiliatingly forgetting that Pulp are from Sheffield. Allow us to introduce Tracks, your new favourite music podcast. We are co-hosts Tim Garrett and Harry Williams, and we are really excited to finally be releasing our first episode. This episode was recorded way back in January, so it has been a long time in coming. Since then we’ve recorded another 5 episodes, done a lot of planning and a consumed silly amount of alcoholic beverages in order to make Tracks what we want it to be. We are, however, still very proud of this episode as a starting point.  Our aim with this one was to give you, our lovely listeners, an insight into our music tastes in the form of an old, new, borrowed and blue song choice.
