Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Podcast Series! On this edition, we welcome KR∆UT KR∆UT is the moniker of Amsterdam’s household name Daniel Zuur. With this alter ego he’s bound to bring his audience a flux of world music influenced electronica, different tempo’s and lots of percussion. 
 Daniel has been a staple in the Amsterdam club scene since 2009. His unique sound and organic mixes have earned him a name in the alternative electronic music scene, as his sets have been attributed to being melancholic, dynamic but above all, deeply melodic. 
 Haunted by the drums and his experience as a drummer in several bands, Daniel has developed an exceptional rhythm and sound that no label will do justice.
 As KR∆UT he released on labels like Shika Shika, Wonderwheel Recordings, Metanoia, Cosmic Awakenings, Tropical Twista Records and recently on new label The Other Eye where he got remixed by sir Acid Pauli.

Several years ago he experienced the enchanting pull of the mystical nights and days at electronic music festivals. What has most shook his consciousness was this new, loving encounter of community, which is resembled by those playful nights, when strangers meet under the shivering roofs of trees and stars. Reenacting these experiences of togetherness in the uniting strength of deep rhythms and heavy percussions is what describes H.Haller's sounds most precisely. In his versatile sets, he’s combining genres from slowed down Melodic House, Dark Disco, Deep House, always ready for a change - this is when the nasty beats and breaks of Future/Bass house come surprisingly in. I'm excited to share with you a cut from my set at SXM Festival which took place in March 2020. I was lucky enough to play a sunset set at Ocean Stage, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It was an honor to setup the mood for incredible artists such as The Echonomist, WhoMadeWho, Jenia Tarsol and Dj Tennis. In the 80’s schNee was born in the suburbs of Berlin, and as a young girl she moved through this vibrant city exploring different music styles through concerts - as she got older she started finding herself in the Berlin clubs; dancing, feeling, enjoying, and opening up to the electronic music. It turns out that a simple mixtape was to be the beginning of an adventurous career for the young schNee. After making a mixtape, for her car, of all her favorite electronic tracks - a sudden realization hit her - her passion in life was to become a DJ and learn the ways of music. She promptly bought turntables, a mixer, and started her vinyl collection. Thus, a DJ was born. schNee is all about the musical experience and that is evident through her sound.
