Vocalist and songwriter Cecily releases her first full album entitled Songs of Love and Freedom on May 4th. The sound pulls heavily from 1970’s soul and R&B, specifically the work of Gil Scott-Heron, The Isley Brothers, and Norman Connors. On this project Cecily collaborated with Aaron Abernathy, Diggs Duke, Drew Kid, and John Daise and Brother Spanky of the group Columbia Nights. Independent artist Yasmin Ray has released her brand new music video “Gravity”, the second single off her EP “Blank Canvas.  "Gravity"  The song was written while Yasmin was in Atlanta working on her debut ep with the established and talented songwriter JC. It was the last track that was recorded for the ep. The moment Yasmin heard the beat she knew it would be something special. Once the first line was written the rest of the song flowed naturally and was recorded and finished in the same night.
