During Eastertime they feasted with Christ during those 40 days and his Mother was among his witnesses. Then came his Ascension. Tradition tells us the Virgin Mary was there. Also, there are Marian oriented works afoot after the Re-Consecration of North America to the Virgin Mary several weeks ago. They include a major motion picture premier about an apparition of the Virgin Mary entitled 'Fatima.' The going without through the Lenten season comes to a conclusion with miracle of the empty tomb and the witnessed apparitions of Christ Jesus to those closest to him including his mother, the Madonna. With the trauma of life coming from all sides this year, the Lenten journey offers many specific prayers for personal reflection. We can, as did Mother Mary, witness the journey Jesus took and a way through our trials of today. By now going without and prayer most likely is becoming a more significant part of your day. What Will I Do? Will it be something to give up or something to do for others? It's the question that comes to mind, like it or not, this time of year. Getting on board the start of Lent for your Easter Season 2020 by remembering the Virgin Mary and her watching Jesus in his passion. The Virgin Mary’s being there in the Passion of Christ is worthy of consideration when you recall that almost from the time of his birth, like any good parent, she concerned herself with the life and health of her new born son. And in quick order, time was short in the manger as Joseph was warned by an angel of the Lord that he must hurry and take his young wife and child rapidly away from there lest the baby be killed.
