How we respond to Jesus matters. Luke writes to convince us that what Jesus said and did proved that He is worth trusting. There were those who rejected Jesus because of their selfish desires, but God had a plan to save the world in spite of the evil in his day.

What do you do when someone offers you a gift? God gives His people gifts to help them accomplish His purpose for their lives. Do you know what gifts God has blessed you with? Are you faithful to steward those gifts?

Do you ever have trouble keeping your cool? It is hard to show calm when things are chaotic. It is difficult to be at peace when life is spinning out of control. Jesus shows us how to have peace and calm in the most trying times.

God has given gifted people to the church. But there are times when I giftedness became a problem in the early church. It can still create division in the church today. But we will discover the all important ingredient that keeps us from division and meaninglessness.

The passion week is coming to a climax. It is in this moment we see the great obedience and love of Jesus. He loves the Father and that love is poured out in the decision He made in the garden of Gethsemane for the hope of humanity. His decision changed our eternal destination.
