“It is finished” are the last words of Jesus before his death as recorded in John’s gospel. “It is finished” is translated from the Greek word “tetelestai” which was commonly written on business documents or receipts in New Testament times. How should Christians respond to the Coronavirus? The whole earth is looking for answers. What should Christians do? We don’t want to overreact and panic.     What is heaven? How will we get to heaven? What will it be like? Last words tell us so much about a person. The last words of Jesus reveal the heart of Jesus and show us what was important to Him. The words of Jesus on the cross invite each of us to examine our own own life. His last words invite us into a deeper understanding of who He is and who we are called to be.     In this message, Pastor Jamie Nunnally shares the truths and the invitation contained in the words of Jesus: “Father, forgive them. We are called to be set apart. There are things that may be legal, and may be culturally acceptable, but not beneficial. Sampson is an example of someone who permitted himself to embrace his culture when he was called to be set apart. The internet values popularity over truth. The internet distracts us from real life. Has internet distraction caused you to leave God  on “read”?

Shouldn’t Christians use social media differently than non-Christians? Why do we need to be careful with social media?
