Tomorrow night, on Fite TV, William Patrick Corgan and Dave Lagana will present their first ever National Wrestling Alliance show; the 70th Anniversary of the company from the Asylum in Nashville.  This afternoon, your X-Patriot, "XanMan" Shane Sebunia and The Honorable Jeff will preview that show for you.  A huge grudge match will take place between Tim Storm and Peter Avalon, Jazz will defend the Women's Championship against the exciting Penelope Ford, and Cody will make his second NWA Worlds Title defense against; this time against the former champion, Nick Aldis in a 2/3 falls match.  There will be NWA History galore, as Jim Cornette will be on hand to do color for the show, Tony Schiavone will call the play-by-play for the main event, and Magnum T.A. will be on hand to present the NWA National Title to whichever of the eight men competing for it wins the thing.  Join us as we run down the card for ya. In between big NJPW and Ring of Honor shows (King of Pro Wrestling airs early this morning) Shane and Jeff were going to simply watch what many are calling the greatest Impact/TNA pay per view of all time--Slammiversary from back in July--for the first time and review it.  Then ROH comes along and announces that for the second time in a month they are going to air a big CMLL show on Honor Club--this time International Gran Prix 2018; so we will be going over both for you; and if time allows we will also preview what looks like an excellent Glory by Honor card.

Join your host, LOP Radio mainstay Steven Bell, as he rambles aimlessly about WWE and life in general, occasionally striking upon something meaningful or insightful. Mostly just having fun and doing silly voices, though. The theme of this episode is, as you may have seen in the title, Binge and Purge. What does that mean, exactly? Well, in the first part of the show we discussed the binge of WWE events going down in and around October this year and how hyping them all may be underserving the others. Part of that is a discussion on the international market and how the presentation of shows like Super Show-Down as something that looks good on paper but ultimately plays out as a glorfied house show may eventually start to result in diminishing returns. The second half of the show is a bit more personal, with a purge of in general life stuff going on at the moment and how pro wrestling plays its part in it. A heavy part of that discussion is how something as trivial as WWE or wrestling may ultimately mean a lot

A little over 6 months prior to G1 Supercard at Madison Square Garden, New Japan Pro Wrestling once again held a big show on the West Coast and Shane and Jeff give their reactions to it.  NWA World Champion Cody challenged Juice Robinson for the United States Title.  The Young Bucks defended their World Tag Team Titles against former three-time champs, the Guerrillas of Destiny.  Could Will Ospreay overcome certainty by defeating Marty Scurll to go to the finals of the Junior Heavyweight Championship Tournament at King of Pro Wrestling?  Find out right here in the Kingdom!
