This week seminary student, Andrew Howe, shares with us how we can learn about worship from the example of Nehemiah and the Israelites as they rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem.

This week Pastor Adams talks about chapter 20 of The Story, where Esther has faith and courage and saves her people. Even though God is never mentioned in this story, He is there. Just like He is in our lives. Sometimes we don't recognize His hand in our lives, but He is always with us, working through us.

Pastor Mark Brandt explains how God can use the circumstances in life to carry out His plans for us. Like He did when He used the pagan king of Babylon, Cyrus to bring the people of Israel back to their homeland.

In the final sermon of the five week series, Five Ways to Wreck Your Life, Pastor Adams talks about pride and how it was the reason that the kingdom of Judah came to its final end. Pride can be our stumbling block as well, if we forget to acknowledge it in our lives.

In the third week of the sermon series Five Ways to Wreck You Life, Pastor Caleb Adams talks about the fear and loneliness that Elijah felt when he was being hunted by Queen Jezebel. We also feel alone and afraid sometimes, but because of Christ's death and resurrection we are never alone, no matter what "cave" we find ourselves in.

King Rehoboam and King Jeroboam each took the opportunity to seek advice at the beginning of their respective reigns. Each king failed to listen to wise advice and instead listened to the "Morons" who told them what they wanted to hear. Pastor Caleb Adams tells us how we can learn from their foolishness and how we can avoid their mistakes by seeking advice from wise advisers and especially from God's word.

Pastor Joel Kaiser tells us about the blessings of Lutheran schools and through our school we are living out the Story of our faith.
