As we continue in SEXY [PART TWO] we’ll look at the God-designed heart of a man! During the message Pastor Kevin will confront the common cultural presentation of masculinity and counter it with a Biblical perspective. You’ll also see the way forward to be “initiated” into the God-designed heart for men!

This week we open SEXY [PART TWO] by looking at the God-given natures of men and women. It’s collectively, through the compliment of our combined natures that we display a full image of God, so as we open Pastor Kevin Simmons shows us how to embrace and celebrate those differences!

As we close out I CHOOSE JESUS we’ll see that the invitation to choose the things of God are really based on our capacity to choose Him over ourselves. In this message Pastor Kevin Simmons will challenge us to choose the right “self” to be led by, and we’ll see that the choice to follow Jesus will open us up to new levels of understanding our influence in our own lives!

As we continue in I CHOOSE JESUS we’ll spend this week focusing on JOY. Often we confuse joy with happiness, but that choice leaves us chasing a target we’ll never reach. During this message we’ll see that Jesus purchased our right to choose joy and more completely understand what it means to choose joy in all circumstances! 

We live in such an immediate culture that patience seems like a foreign concept, but the Scriptures clearly show us that patience is a part of God’s plan for our lives. During this message Pastor Kevin will break down why we struggle with patience, show us how Jesus models patience for us, and help us more clearly understand how to choose patience!

As we continue in I CHOOSE JESUS, Pastor Kevin Simmons shows us that love isn’t simply an emotion. We often talk about love the wrong way, but love is a decision… a decision that God made for us first. In this message we’ll see more clearly how to have loving relationships and love God!

As we kick off I CHOOSE JESUS we look at the power of choice. During this message, Pastor Kevin Simmons shows us that God has truly set us free, but that freedom is connected to the power of choice. During this message you’ll see that the choices we make have profound impacts that ripple throughout our entire lives. 

As we continue in THE DAY LIGHT WAS BORN we examine the light inside of us and the darkness that tries to over take it. During this message Pastor Kevin Simmons will help us to see that we have two choices when it comes to the Light Of The World: we can try to put it out or we can follow it. Our hope is that you'll take the next step this Christmas in following The Light! 

During the opening of THE DAY LIGHT WAS BORN we see that Christmas often becomes complicated. During the message you’ll see that Christmas is not simply the most wonderful time of the year because of what’s happening, it’s the most wonderful time of the year because of what happened when God sent His Son Jesus into the world!

As we close out UNHINGED, we see the lasting affects of the sin of unforgiveness and offense: our hearts grow cold. God wants us to have a loving relationship with himself and others, so He insists on us forgiving as we have been forgiven. During this message Pastor Kevin Simmons will help us see that God has a plan for healing our hearts in process of forgiveness. It’s not easy. It may be painful. It may not be the way you want it to happen. But… it is the best thing for us.  

As we continue in our current series, UNHINGED, Pastor Kevin Simmons shows us that offense will always shape our lives: we’ll either get better or get bitter because of it. In this message you’ll see how God wants to use offense to make us better and how to escape the trap of offense!

We all have experienced pain. Have you ever thought that God wants to meet you in the middle of your pain? During this message Pastor Kevin shows us two common ways that we get wounded. Wounds are opportunities to become offended, but we can diffuse the offense by choosing to trust God instead of seeking revenge!

During the first week of UNHINGED Pastor Kevin Simmons helps expose the trap of the enemy that lies in becoming offended. Offense is a starting point for a major attack on our heart and an entry point for killing relationships, especially covenant relationships. During this message you’ll see that we all suffer offense, but God has a better plan for our hearts!

This week Jon Mikesell wraps up Better by looking at what a life looks like that focuses on serving. If we want to live a life like Jesus, we need to serve like Him.

This week we continue in BETTER by looking at what it will take to have a better family. Have you ever thought of the church as a family? We believe that The Church is a spiritual family, both globally and locally. During this message Pastor Kevin Simmons will examine the functions of a family and then show us how those can be applied both to the church and our families. In each application, we’ll see that God has practical ways to make our families better! 

As we continue in BETTER, Pastor Kevin Simmons helps us see that every one of our stories intersects shame, and we must choose the pain of discipline over the pain of shame. During the message you’ll see that God has a plan to make us better and release the potential He has placed inside of us. All we need to do is trust and follow!
