Road Trip DL today from northern Arizona. We started with a response to Hayden Carroll on the subject of omniscience, and then moved to a discussion of a recent video I listened to attacking penal substitutionary atonement. We then read through a major portion of Isaiah 53 in reference to this topic. Might sneak another program in to get back to Dositheus, but that is dependent on travel.

Looked at a recent statement from Leighton Flowers that sure looks a lot like Open Theism, then moved on to some more evidence of how far removed Mormonism is from Biblical Christianity. Finished up listening to a section of Jay Dyer on Tucker Carlson talking about the "ancient church" and the Reformation.

Dr. White covers three main topics before heading up to Colorado! Today features a response to Patrick Madrid on Galatians 5:4, a look at the Mormon doctrine of God, and the conclusion of the Confession of Cyril Lucaris.

Mainly spent our time looking at an excellent example of what Mormonism's doctrine of "god" brings them to when discussing election and sovereignty, and then we almost finished up the Confession of Cyril Lucaris, talking about faith, justification, and the sacraments.

Remembered to cover some comments made by young neoMorm Chandler Hendry on the topic of John 1:1. Then we got back to the Confession of Cyril Lucaris, part of our broader study of the Confession of Dositheos from 1672 in Eastern Orthodoxy.

The archive of today's broadcast is now available! Dr. White went a bit long today, covering a handful of miscellaneous topics before getting back into our series on Orthodoxy. Today's Docket: View of Scripture: Responding to a progressivist UMC pastor presenting the "Bible isn't God's Word, it just points to God's Word" perspective. Eastern Orthodoxy Deep Dive: Looking at the historic confession of Cyril Lucaris as the critical background to the Confession of Dositheus that we began last week. Started off with some comments about the childishness of many on line today, but spent most of our time on Eastern Orthodoxy and specifically thinking about a conversation Gavin Ortlund had with Jonathan Pageau, focusing on the Synod of Jerusalem. Then we began reading the Confession of Dositheus and we will continue that on the next program. Remember, I have been telling you the EO stuff was coming! But as we saw today, much of this conversation has tremendous meaning in other areas of theology and apologetics.

Went into the big studio today, started off with a little discussion of the Tucker Carlson stuff, and then shifted over to some comments by Eastern Orthodox speaker Alex Sorin that allowed us to discuss some other foundational issues about church history.

Picked up on a few developments since the last program out of Ogden including the "Nazi hunting" piece by Sauve, and then moved to a video of Archbishop Edward Weisenburger speaking at a mosque opening in Dearborn (Detroit area), identifying the place as one of true worship, where God is active, and even made reference to the Islamic prayers (which, of course, specifically identify Christianity as a religion that has been led astray). We discussed how this tells us a lot about how Romanism has changed, and is changing, over the centuries.

Addressed the Ogden Debacle today. Did not want to, honestly, but this is cancer in the camp, and it is spreading. Yes, Nazis---self proclaimed, proud ones---were selling their wares at the NCP conference and the excuse making by Sauve and Conn didn't fly. Be warned, brethren: this stuff is insidious!

Yeah, this will be a real barn-burner! A truly entertaining program! Lots of sound effects and humor! Clicks galore! Actually, none of that. After some general discussion and a bit more on the de-evolution of Mormonism, I spent the rest of the program discussing my work on a scholarly article responding to the theory that Pseudo-Dionysius is actually a first century production. See? Thrilling. Well, I do try to explain why, anyway. And our audience has learned that sometimes you have to do a deep dive to really get a foundation for important things.

Three major topics on tap today. First, William Lane Craig and the reason for suffering in conversation with Alex O'Connor. Then, a Roman Catholic plays a clip and missed my point regarding Athanasius and "apostolic tradition." Then, the Neo-Morms are on the rise, and we get a confession of faith from one of them.

Spent the first half of the show on other topics, including some RV stuff, and then talked a bit about Cardinal Bellarmine and forms of argumentation, but the main topic today was Emperor Theodosius, the proclamation of Christianity as the state religion of the Roman Empire, and the incident between he and Ambrose of Milan regarding the massacre at Thessaloniki.

Did another Zoom calls show today and as usual...great questions on a wide, wide variety of topics, mainly church history, a little more EOism, etc. Went pretty long, too, as I couldn't shut up! Spent some time at the end talking about AI fakes, sticking to God's standards of justice, etc.

Followed up on recent exchanged on line regarding such topics as "Roma locuta est" and the sacrifice of the Mass. Important topics for evangelizing Rome. We are planning on a Zoom call program tomorrow.

Final road trip DL of this trip, from Willcox, Arizona. Covered some trip details from my visit to Lubbock and Las Cruces, and then played a parody song produced by Ward Radio on the "God of Calvinism." Used it as a basis to again address the utter lack of interest in accuracy or truthfulness exemplified on the net these days. Not sure what next week's schedule is going to look like, but we will do our best!

Live Road Trip DL from Las Cruces, New Mexico today, considering Dale Partridge's amazing assertion that "most women can't think," and then moving on to the state of Roman Catholic apologetics on line today, using the ramblings of Bishop Jaxi as an example. And a nice shot out the back window of our Mobile Command Center at the Organ Mountains on the other side of Las Cruces.

Covered some important material today, starting with the purgatory clip I didn't play last time. Found out the priest who made those comments died in 2023, so, it seemed fitting to review them. Then we looked at a claim about Jerome and the Apocryphal books, then switched back to the Jacob Hansen/Allie Beth Stuckey conversation, focusing on Acts 17. Quite a range once again!

Covered two primary topics today, both with a strong church history and apologetic element. Started off responding to the citation of Irenaeus and how everyone must be in agreement with the church at Rome. Spent quite a while providing the context and meaning of the statement. Then, spent the last part of the program reading a five chapter book. I will leave it to the listener to figure out why. Telling you what it was about would prejudice your listening!
