I caught up with former Kansas Jayhawks wide receiver Kerry Meier to talk about his sports medicine career in New York City, his favorite Mark Mangino story, along with losing the QB job before the final season at KU and what that did for his personal and professional growth.

In this week's podcast I explain why Big 12 fans are sounding like SEC football fans following the Big 12/SEC Challenge. Also, we get into the Senior Bowl and which Big 12 players helped their stock, along with thoughts on why College GameDay is coming back to the Big 12 for a second-straight week. It was great to spend a few minutes speaking with Iowa State athletic director Jamie Pollard. We chatted about Dennis Dodd's report on CBS Sports regarding potential changes to the college football transfer rule and what other tweaks could be considered. I also ask Pollard about his discussions and negotiations leading up to Matt Campbell's new contract and where Iowa State's athletic programs stand on a national level.
