Revive Us Again. Part 3 - Revive Our Nation. All of us love our country and are so grateful for America. We know the goodness of this country and how God has used and blessed it through the centuries. But today America needs Christ followers more than at any other time to pray and seek God’s Face and lead in a returning to God.

Revive Us Again. Part 2 – Revive Our Church (Revelation 2:3,4) Over the last four decades, God has blessed and worked through our church to impact the world. But often we have to come back to the very core of who we are, our First Love. It is time now to renew our commitment of love to God and to his body. We are the strongest when we are fully devoted to Christ and united with each other.

Revive Us Again. Part 1 – Revive Me (Psalm 85:6) While we long for a move of God in our nation and in our church, we must realize that God’s greatest move has to begin in each of us first. Now is the time to search honestly and surrender fully our own hearts to the Lord. This has always been the birthing place of a mighty move of God – a personal brokenness and longing for God.

DARING TO START AGAIN. Part 3 – We Need To Support. Sugar Creek is a church that has its priorities straight. We are deeply committed to the Great Commission of reaching the world and discipling those we reach. We are touching lives all over this region and around the world. To continue doing so will take all of us to be a part of the mission.”

DARING TO START AGAIN. Part 2 – We Need To Serve Again. The church has never been about just showing up and neither has the Christian life. Part of spiritual growth and maturity is allowing the Lord to use your talents, abilities, and spiritual gifts to bless other people. We have taken a break from serving while we have been working through the pandemic. The pandemic is not over but We Need To Serve Again.

DARING TO START AGAIN. Part 1 – We Need Each Other. We must be careful with the COVID virus, especially those who are at higher risks. But what we cannot do is hunker down forever. There is a time to start again. Pastor Mark will be back this Sunday, September 13 to begin that conversation in his first message entitled, We Need Each Other. Now is the right time to Dare To Start Again.

Hope at the End of Your Rope; Part 6 – Focus On The Promises. God has given us promises. Today we must claim them by faith but one day, we will declare by sight because God will bring them to pass. You won’t have to wait until heaven to see the rescue of God. You will see His Hand and His Strength in your life here on earth as you claim His promises. You will witness God deliver you time after time and fulfill His promises in your life. You will see it throughout this coronavirus and beyond. Pastor Mark teaches how to recognize our problems but focus on God’s promises. Psalm 68:1 tells us to let God arise and His enemies be scattered.

Hope at the End of Your Rope; Part 5 – Don’t Forget To Live Today. Too many people live for tomorrow but forget to live today. Don’t let today pass you by while you wait for better days. This is the day the Lord has made with you in mind. Pastor Mark will take us through the words of Jesus that show us how to live in this moment to its fullest.

Hope at the End of Your Rope; Part 4 – Attitude That Gives Us Altitude (Acts 16:6 40) All of us know that our attitude is one of the most important aspects of life. In many ways, our attitude makes or breaks who we really are. But how can you have a Godly attitude when everything seems to be against you? Pastor Mark’s message will take us to a bizarre story from the book of Acts that teaches us that the power of a faith-based attitude can turn even the hardest of times.

It is all about what we focus on. Worry puts its focus on something that seems out of control. But waiting on God puts its focus on the God who is in control. How people get past their worrying? It isn’t a change in conditions…it’s something else. Pastor Mark helps us to overcome our worries.

The Bible teaches us that there is hope at the end of our rope. Our responses provide the opportunity to show those around us how the Lord comes through for us during the worst of times.

Hope at the End of Your Rope; Part 1 – See Your Problems In A New Way. The stress levels we are experiencing these days is absolutely amazing. We live in Houston, one of the largest hot spots for the COVID virus in the entire country. Putting on a mask everywhere we go and being careful about everything wears on all of us. Will your children attend school in person or at home? If they are at home, how do you pull that off again? You may ask yourself, ” Will I have a job a month from now? 6 months from now? If I don’t, how will I make it financially? In this environment, how will I ever find another job?” There is a feeling of being, “at the end of our rope.” You need to know that there is Hope At The End of Your Rope.

Part 4 – Successful Life Redirection (1 Peter 5:5b-7) You probably can remember a time when you made your plans and formed your dreams, only to see everything fall apart because of some situation. Those unexpected interruptions we all go through hurt so much. The global pandemic is a clear example of that. But, how would your life change if there was a way for the next interruption to be a successful redirection to something better? Moreover, what if there was a way to help you see it as God’s intervention redirecting you towards an unexpected purpose? Join us as we conclude our series “Life Interrupted” by learning the key to a successful life redirection.

What drives you to gather in worship with others and do what we call “going to Church”? We believe it’s because Jesus designed His church to motivate and encourage us to accomplish the things that move us to a deeper place in our lives. He’s working in your life in a way you don’t expect! When things go wrong or take an unexpected turn… He is there guiding us. In every worship service, connect group, serve opportunity, and beyond. He gave us the church, the community, the support to set us down the path He intended for each of us. That’s what we’ll be talking about this Sunday, a Life Interrupted. Our plans have changed, our trips have canceled, and the normal rhythms of life have been altered. Or maybe this season has brought to you far more serious interruptions than that. So how are you dealing with your life’s interruptions? Or rather, what are you doing with your life’s interruptions? In this season of uncertainty and interruption, we are reaching back to a place of normalcy. We have all said this at some point in the last few weeks, “I can’t wait for things to be normal again.” There’s a part of us that just wants to get back to what is familiar and comfortable. But what if instead of reaching back at an old normal, God is wanting us to reach forward to a new one? What if this whole season is to lead us to a place that is better than normal? Join us as we unpack what better than normal can look like and how we get there.

Our plans have changed, our trips have canceled, and the normal rhythms of life have been altered. Or maybe this season has brought to you far more serious interruptions than that. This weekend we will talk about how we can actually embrace the interruptions of our life rather than trying to escape them. Because I believe with all my heart that God has tucked into these interruptions purpose, meaning and maybe even reasons for joy.
