Man O War Church Sermon Messages

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16

We will start tonight with a profound truth. The God who one day will call us to give an account to Him is the God who loves us like a father loves His children.

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." - Matthew 28:19

“The power that saves us is the same power that keeps us!”

"Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour." - 1 John 2:18

I’m praying that you will have everything it takes to withstand hardship, conquer in battle, overcome the enemy, and endure to the end.

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." - John 14:6

"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever." - Ephesians 3:20-21

Where there’s life, there’s growth. Where there’s growth, there’s life. God gave us spiritual life in Christ and He intends for that life to grow.

Before we can fully understand Jesus as our advocate. We understand Jesus as our atonement. We must understand that He is the propitiation for our sins.

Though we remember Christmas, could it be that we have we forgotten the Holy Child, Jesus?

We can joyfully proclaim the welcome of Jesus: Through God’s grace to us in the gospel, we who are spiritually far off are invited to come near—and in the Second Advent, Jesus will fully demonstrate God’s heart for the weak, lowly, and despised as he rights the wrongs of our world and makes all things new.

Christians, John says, don’t walk in darkness. That is, believers don’t live lives the way the dark world does.

We start a new series on the Book of 1 John. Tonight we will focus on John, the author.
