Some very familiar constructs in our life like friend, spouse, fellowship, relationship, and buddy, ALL imply someone else's existence to make it so. God made us to be part of someone else, and someone else to be part of us. This makes US stronger and more capable, and when God is included, then victorious.

We have all probably seen the effects of positive support and an encouraging word when we face tough times and heartache. Imagine, though, the power of good news and encouragement when it comes from our God and Savior. Our Teacher, Jesus Christ, is good news.

God truly desires we draw ourselves closer to Him, and He knows our thoughts and our heart. We must keep our mind kindled on those fruits of the Spirit so our heart is committed to those beliefs. Our heart must be molded to that doctrine so our soul and deepest being is captured with the Spirit of our Lord and Savior.

As God proclaimed, there was no one like Job. I know some describe Job through his display of patience, but God said he was blameless, upright, feared God, and shunned evil. This describes a man who had strong faith and pursued a life of righteousness.

While a valuable exercise by attending church upon the first day of the week, we can encourage and uplift one another as we come together, unified in our worship of the one God, Lord and Savior. But does your life exemplify the praise and commitment due to the One who paid the debt of your sin? Do your actions each week glorify the One who supplies us with all we have? We must praise Him!
