Ian Eskridge and James Fox of FutureSox took some time with White Sox 2023 13th round selection Ryan Galanie. He goes into his storied high school and talks about the insane alumni from Moeller High School, including Ken Griffey Jr and Barry Larkin among many others. Galanie also went into detail about his college career with the Wofford Terriers, and his eventual draft day. Ryan was asked to tell Ian and James what is making Kannapolis the place to be in the Carolina league in 2024, what the differences are to last year, and what he is focusing on this year and for the future. Galanie is slashing an insane .352/.436/.592 in 2024, and has been putting on a show. The masses need to take a look and see what he is doing with the Cannon Ballers. Elijah Evans checks in with 2022 draft pick Eric Adler on this interview edition of the podcast. Adler talks about his experience at Wake Forest and throughout his first year with the White Sox organization before diving in to role as a relief pitcher, adjustments on his pitch locations, the talent in the farm system, and his first few weeks in Birmingham. Adler has a 1.17 ERA with 24 strikeouts across 15.1 innings pitched this season between High-A and Double-A. He is well-regarded as one of the top relief pitchers in the farm system.
