It's a special Christmas edition of PFW's Chicago Football Podcast. Kevin, John and Dan start with a lump of coal for Bears fans by recapping Sunday's loss to the Packers. Then the conversation shifts to another first-round pick that doesn't appear to be a great gift for the Bears, Kyle Fuller. The guys preview the Christmas Eve game against Washington and play the role of Santa and hand out some gifts to members of the Bears family. It's Packers Week! But first, Kevin recaps another close loss, this time to the Lions, and what to make of the final few Bears games. The guys are back to recap a snowy victory for the Bears over the 49ers. The defense played well, so why is there a report about Vic Fangio's job status (5:30)? Kevin and John analyze that situation before the guys turn the page to the NFC North-leading Detroit Lions. Justin Rogers (@Justin_Rogers) joins the show to preview Sunday's game and discuss Matthew Stafford's success (10:07), Chicago natives Laken Tomlinson and Graham Glasgow and Jim Caldwell's smiles. The guys wrap up the show by breaking down the Bears' fantasy football outlook for Sunday and then give their picks.

We weren't going to drop the ball on our listeners and skip a week just because the Bears are 2-9! On this week's episode, we recap Sunday's loss to the Titans (3:48) and come up with some ways to avoid drops in the future. There's only one team in the NFC worse than the Bears, and we learned about that team, the 49ers, by talking to Kevin Lynch (@klynch49) of sfgate.com. Lynch discussed why Colin Kaepernick may be the team's answer at QB (8:54) and how fans feel about him in SF (21:07). You thought it couldn't get worse for the Bears — Au contraire! Kevin recaps another miserable week for the Bears and talks about why it's been fascinating to cover Jay Cutler (5:30). Tim Baffoe (@TimBaffoe) joins the show to give us his perspective on Cutler (7:30), as well as things for Bears fans to be thankful for and what there is to look forward to when following this team. Kevin and John wrap up the show with high school reunion talk and a preview of Sunday's game against the Titans (30:15).

Well, someone has to talk about the unraveling Bears, and we're here to do it! Kevin and John recap a wild and ugly 48 hours for the Bears and talk to Eric Edholm (@Eric_Edholm) of Yahoo Sports' Shutdown Corner (12:15) about the futures of Jay Cutler and Alshon Jeffery, and if there is any team in worse shape than the Bears. There are more games to be played, so Paul Schwartz, Giants beat writer for the New York Post (@NYPost_Schwartz) brings us behind enemy lines to discuss Odell Beckham Jr. and of course, Robbie Gould and the G-Men (26:45). The guys wrap up the show with their picks for Sunday's game.

The guys are back! Following the Bears bye week, Cubs World Series and election, Kevin, Dan and John return to recap what was a big Bears win on Halloween (3:04) and get you set for this Sunday's game vs. the Buccaneers. Roy Cummings (@RCummingsFRS) joins the show to break down Sunday's opponent, the Buccaneers (10:53) and what to expect from Jameis Winston, Mike Evans and more. The guys then share what it was like when the Cubs won the World Series (29:49) and wrap up the show with picks for Bears-Bucs. 

It's time to trick or treat on the Podcast as we get you set for the Bears' Halloween game on Monday night. But first, Kevin recaps an interesting week at Halas Hall and what we heard from Jay Cutler (6:08). We go 'Behind Enemy Lines' to learn about the NFC North-leading Vikings with Matt Vensel (@mattvensel) of the Star-Tribune (9:58). Is there any weakness in the Vikings' defense? That’s right Chicago, the boys at Pro Football Weekly bring you extended coverage of the Bears at Green Bay on Thursday Night Football, with an extra dose of the PFW Chicago Podcast this week! The PFW Crew was LIVE at Goal Line Sports Bar & Grill in Crystal Lake, IL on Wednesday night and previewed the game in front of a packed house getting ready for Cubs/Dodgers NLCS Game 4. We're almost there. The regular season is so close! To get you set for the 2016 Bears season, Kevin interviews NFL Network analyst and Move the Sticks podcast host (and former NFL scout) Daniel Jeremiah, who gives his insight on Leonard Floyd and Kevin White, and Jay Cutler and the Bears' future at quarterback. The Bears are back from their week in Foxborough, and our podcast is back to analyze what we learned from the Bears' time with the Patriots.
