After Dark Day, when the entire world was blanketed in darkness for 24 hours, Earth has become a more dangerous place, haunted by the forces of evil. None are more aware of this than four young college students who have undergone a strange metamorphosis into NIGHTBANE! The PCs are in for the fight of their lives when they are attacked by Hounds, and must travel through mirrors to reach the Nightlands, another dimension where the sinister Night Lords rule, in order to aid the Resistance there. A request has arrived from the lands of Barovia for a group to help escort a precious cargo across the dangerous countryside. A grieving landowner has requested that the body of his wife be brought back to their lands on Lake Zarovich to be laid to rest. The reward for this escort is considerable because the road to Lake Zarovich has many dangers along it’s worn muddy roads. Taking passage with a Vistani caravan, the trip has been relatively uneventful as our Terrible Warriors approach the borders of the lands of mists. The Vistani whisper a name “Count Strahd Von Zarovich”. A catastrophic explosion in the underground mines has forced a door to seal and the Jedi knights now face a torrent of water which threatens to drown them and extinguish the hopes of a galaxy. JEDI knights have awoken from carbonite freezing upon a strange world and have no idea how much time has passed since the fall of the REPUBLIC. Our heroes prepare to leave the ruins of BRAY's ship behind as they make their way towards the unknown settlement in the distance. A starship has passed overhead and promises a potential escape from the planet but first they must travel across the treacherous forest.
