What are the tenants of God’s economy? How do the ways of the Kingdom challenge the systems and structures we exist within in our contemporary, Western society? Jeremiah offers both a confession and an invitation.

Today we look closer at Luke 8, and discover a story about Jesus’ power, a story about great faith, and a story about how Jesus responds to interruption. Megan is joined by Isaac and Sandi who each offer their own story of interruption, and how they saw the “unexpected” lead to Kingdom possibilities.

This morning we look at the Institution of the Lord’s Supper. What is the New Covenant Jesus makes with God’s people? And what difference does it make in our daily life, as 21-century followers?

On April 23rd, Dr. Katie Ranum preached a message on Luke 13, the story of the woman who had been crippled for 18 years. A technical difficulty prevented the sermon from recording that morning. Since then, numerous people have asked for Katie’s message, so she’s graciously recorded it for us at her home. Here it is!

The story of Jesus is the story of people telling stories. This is how the good news travels—through our stories! As you look back on your journey of faith, what difference has knowing and following Jesus made in your life? And how might God be prompting you to share it?

Marty takes us on a journey to discover the "gift of the desert" through an exploration of Psalm 1. The psalmist says, "Blessed is the one who meditates (hâgâh) on the Lord's law day and night." How does a commitment to the text become our pathway to righteousness? We look to Jesus' example (Luke 4) to explore how "consuming scripture" can be our pathway through the wilderness, through the tempter's schemes.

Today, we look at Mark 5, the story of Jesus in the region of the Gerasenes. As we encounter the story, we’re asking: “What sacrifice might God be inviting us to make for the sake of other’s restoration and redemption?”

Unity demands distinction. Peace is a pursuit. This week, Marty Solomon invites us to consider the way Jesus brings the most unlikely people together, and asks us to consider “the walls” that might need tearing down in our midst—including in our churches.

Jeremiah directs our attention to two passages in Luke's Gospel (Luke 14:12-14 and Luke 6:32-36) to explore the ways Jesus calls his disciples to a "social-strata disrupting" hospitality, and a "status-quo transforming" generosity. How might practicing such radical forms of generosity and hospitably help us begin to recognize the imago dei in our neighbor, and shape us into change agents, like Christ, in the process?

To live the Easter Life, is to participate in the Jesus life, is to have the mind of Christ. How do we do that?! In this intro sermon to our next teaching series, Jeremiah directs our attention to Phil. 2:1-5 and invites us to consider three ways: to know Christ, to be clothed in Christ, to walk with Christ.
