A move to legalize sports gambling

If the measures become law it would put North Carolina in line with nearly two dozen other states, and potentially generate a few billion dollars in annual revenue. Still, it remains unclear if a deal will be brokered in the final weeks of the legislative session.

A plan to expand Medicaid includes other significant changes to health care
