This week John Groves shared from Isaiah 57 about how we should be a people who thirst after God. John is on the leadership Team at Hope Church Winchester and travels extensively teaching and training churches. He has helped and advised us directly as a church for several years.

Andy shares the Easter story and the truth that it holds for all of us.

James creatively explores the story of Zacchaeus from Luke 19, with the visual aids of a hastily-crafted sycamore tree alongside Oscar winning portrayals of a Zacchaeus who distributes chocolate coins and of a Jesus who wears cycling sunglasses by members of the congregation. This is the first Sunday of our Easter All-Age Services.

Ben continues our series through the life of David by challenging us with the question "Who do we put our confidence in when we face giants?"

Al Shaw, of our Bradley Stoke site, takes the next passage of the story of David and discusses the importance of reading the Old Testament in context of the entire Bible.

Diverting from the narrative slightly, James Lee walks us through Psalm 16 as the next part of our David series. With an emphasis on taking joy in the Lord, James encourages the church to all read Psalm 16 every day this week.

In the first weekend of our Giving Sundays, Ben tackles the issue of personal stewardship of finances, using the passage in 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 of the Cheerful Giver as an example.
