Gateway elders are called to be like Jesus, our Chief Shepherd, as we sacrificially love and serve those He has entrusted to our care.

When you suffer, find hope in God’s nature and let that lead you to continue to serve Him.

When Jesus returns to judge, many who think they are okay with God will discover that they really do not know Him.

Do not be ashamed in your sufferings. Rather, glorify God in them knowing the Holy Spirit will enable you to do so

Living with the end in view helps us see our suffering and trials as opportunities for joy as the beloved people of God.

Living with the end in view leads us to serve one another with the gifts, talents, and abilities God has entrusted to us so that Jesus may be glorified.

Living with the end in view leads us to persistently and joyfully open our lives and our homes to one another.

How do you respond to the unstoppable power of God?

God calls us to remember Jesus’ imminent return to grow in us a desire for God’s will that is reflected in how we prayer.

Do not compromise with the world that pressures you. Rather, turn your focus to eternity and remember that God has the final word

As Christians we are called to put on the mind of Christ in order to prepare for suffering and persecution from the world.

To live according to God’s will requires us to embrace Jesus’ perspective on suffering.

Baptism reminds us that our hope is found in God's power alone to save us from our sin and bring us to be with God forever.

Christ's triumphant victory over all evil assures us that we certainly will be with God forever.

Marveling at the uniqueness of Jesus' suffering that brought us to God gives us hope in our own suffering

Our desire for God's grace to grow us in holiness will strengthen our witness to the lost.

Do not respond to suffering with hatred or fear. Rather trust in the sovereignty of God to find hope and to point others to that hope.

There is no need to fear suffering since it cannot thwart God’s blessings for us now and forever.

Whether or not we seek God’s grace to grow in holiness is a serious matter to God.

God calls us to be so aware of His blessings for us that we speak and act in ways that promote peace.
