To be a Mighty Warrior does not mean you are free of wounds - as a matter of fact, most people would prefer to follow a Leader who looks like he has a few battle wounds, then those who don't look like they've even gotten a little dirty. Who would you follow? PeeWee Herman or Mel Gibson? Urkel or Gerard Butler? In 2 Corinthians 12 we are encouraged by Paul... "10 That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong."

Do what you know to do. Whatever God has told you to do must be done EXACTLY as He's told you to do it and in His TIMING! Anything else, anything less than this is SIN.

Have you been giving to God your first fruits, your best or out of what's left. According to Malachi 3, there are only two choices regarding our Tithe - Bring it or Steal it. The good news is that with God we too have the opportunity to a transformed life like the enlightened Scrooge; and then through Christ we can "know how to keep Christmas well" through all our days.

Our excuses drive us to failure because they let us take the easy way out. This series Main Point: The best defense against excuses is an offensive line of Why's. When we develop solid answers to some "Why" questions it will be the greatest defense to erasing our excuses!

Three broken lives were changed in a moment when they Encountered Christ! A Thief, A Murderer and An Adulteress. The Thief who was at the End of his Life; The Murderer who was on a Mission to end Life and The Adulteress who was Stuck in a Life of Shame. All three were completely broken, yet they all Encountered Christ.
