It is Jonathan alone after a whirlwind tour of the state of Florida (he went to Orlando, whoopidy-do) and he blazes a trail from New Comic Book Day 04/27/2016 right on close enough that you can see 05/04/2016. The PREVIEWS catalog is new this week, and Jonathan does his best to highlight some of the items in it before giving you his recommendations for the week.

It is an avalanche of voices this week, with William joining in with Jonathan, Carey, and the Kruz's to cover New Comic Book Day 01/13/2016 and a look into 01/20/2016. The Ramble On starts almost from the get go as William and Jonathan lead a meandering conversation about whether Heavy Metal magazine is a comic book or not, which leads Kevin to a bit of wisdom. For the actual Ramble On, it is time to look at ICv2 national sales numbers for comic books sold December 2015, comparing those to the in-store local numbers. There is much speculation about how pricing and variant chasing by retailers led to December's results.

After their respective hiatuses, the voices of Carey and Kevin & Brie return to the show to cover the first New Comic Book Day of 2016 and look ahead to 01/13/2015. With a full quorum around the table, the crew tackles Zack's question about All New Hawkeye and books we regret having ever bought.

Having the entire staff on the air makes this show the perfect time to look at the national sales numbers for comic books and compare those to in-store sales. The gang then looks at the first official Local Comic Shop Day, the offerings from publishers, how some of those items are doing in secondary markets, and ahead to next year's LCSD. We couldn't close out our podcast unless we had some recommendations for you, so we add those at the end.
