    Twas 72 years ago that a Jersey boy was born. He of County Kildare ancestors with names such as Garrity, O'Farrell, McNicholas and Kelly went on to be quite the cool rockin' Daddy in the USA.     Nanci Caroline Griffith was an American singer, guitarist, and songwriter, raised in Austin, Texas, who split homes in Nashville, Tennessee and Dublin, Ireland.  Griffith appeared many times on the PBS music program Austin City Limits starting in 1985.
