  • 125: What to Expect During Pageant Interview

    20/09/2017 Duration: 07min

Get the Free Pageant Course at: http://FreePageantCourse.com  Pageant interview is the only phase of competition that happens behind closed doors, so it's hard to know what to expect in there. Especially if you've never really seen it done right. There are the obvious expectations of format, like sitting, standing, 1:1, panel; and the physical environment like if the interview will be in a hotel conference room or a school cafeteria and whether or not there will be a podium or other props. I recommend asking your director all those questions before you get to the pageant so you have an idea of what to expect. But still, regardless of all those things, there are some universal truths that you can expect. That's what we're about to discuss. If you know these universal expectations, then it won't matter the setting or format - you'll be able to rock your interview! • 124: What Pageant Judges Are Looking For (Top 3 Qualities for a Beauty Pageant)

    13/09/2017 Duration: 06min

Get the Free Pageant Course at: http://FreePageantCourse.com  There is no mystery about what the judges aren't looking for. They aren't looking for a self-centered, mean girl who hates people. What they are looking for is a much longer list. We can't know the entire list of what the judges want in a titleholder (because frankly, they won't know until they meet her), but there are three specific characteristics that historically win - even if the judges aren't necessarily looking' for them. The good news is: you can communicate all of them if you prepare in a mindful way. The bad news is: so can everyone else. More good news is: few women actually take the time to prepare If you apply the 3 characteristics I'm about to teach you to your pageant preparation, you'll already be light-years ahead of the competition. • 118: Should I Wear Panty Hose During My Pageant Interview?

    02/08/2017 Duration: 06min

Today's Question comes from Lisbeth. She asks: Pantyhose - yes or no? The bare-legged look has been popular for a long time. Does it apply to interview? How about evening gown, especially if the gown has a slit? I generally liked going bare-legged during evening gown since I may be wearing open toed shoes, but even if I'm not, bare feet give me more a grip on the sole of my shoe. But interview....what is your advice? Thank you!
