We should not judge the unbeliever. But we should judge the believers if they continue in sin. Even to the point of having them leave the church.

Paul tells us who we can associate with. We have to associate with the people of the world but should not associate with a brother who lives in sin.

Paul encourages the church to come back to sincerity and truth.

Sin is serious and must be dealt with in the Body Of Christ. A little sin affects the whole church.

Paul turns a man over to Satan. Why did he do this? How did he do this?

Spiritual arrogance will cause a church not to deal with sin. The Corinthian had a problem with spiritual arrogance.

Paul talks about the spiritual arrogance that is in the Corinthian Church. The kingdom of God comes with power and not words.

Paul sends Timothy who is his child in the faith to teach the Corinthians how Paul lives. A picture of true mentoring.

You will have many tutors in Christ. You will only have one spiritual father. They will exhort you to be like them.

Paul does not use shame to teach the Corinthians. He uses his position as a loving father to admonish them.

Paul is teaching the Corinthians what real spirituality is. Is it being rich? Is it have the newest revelation? What is spirituality

Paul uses sarcasm in these verses to illustrate his point.

Arrogance causes division in the Body of Christ. Everything we have we have received.
