The husband is the head of the wife. He protects, provides for and give guidance to her just like Christ does to the church.

Wives need to be subject to the their own husbands. This is the voluntary act. The wives chose to be in right relationship with their husbands.

Each believer must be subject to others believers. That is the way that relationships work.

What does spirit filled living look like? Speaking to each other is songs. Making melodies to the Lord. Giving thanks to the Father.

Getting drunk with wine is a waste. Letting the Holy Spirit fill every area will give you purpose.

Believers should not be walking mindlessly around. God has a definite plan for our lives. It is in His Word.

We need to watch the way we live or walk. For our own benefit but also for those around us, We must make the most of our time.

Our lives as believers will shine light on areas of darkness. That is the first step in the process of change for ourselves and others. Let your light shine!

Believers should not be doing the fruitless things that unbelievers do. We should be exposing them for what they are.

There are four fruits of the light. They are goodness, righteousness, truth and a desire to please God.

Believers should not do what the unbelievers do. We are not like them. We are in the light and they need our light.

Paul tells us not to be deceived into thinking we are free to do whatever we want. That is what the sons of disobedience say.

Instead of using abusive and immoral speech, we should give thanks. Then Paul warns us that there are consequences for sin.

As believers we must stop our defiance of moral standards, our foolish and stupid talk and our vulgarities.

Believers should not be greedy. This is selfishness and not the love we should be walking in.

As believers we can chose what we do. Do not chose to be immoral or impure.

We can walk in love because we know we are loved by God. We know that Jesus gave Himself as a offering and sacrifice for us.

Because you have been forgiven you can imitate God. You see His action because you have an relationship with Him as His child.

These three things will help the work of the Holy Spirit in your life. Kindness, tenderheartedness, forgiveness.

More things that grieve the Holy Spirit and hinder His progress in your life. Bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, slander and malice.
