Jesus is the main thing. He is our high priest and is seated at the right hand of God. He ministers differently than the old high priests.

Jesus is holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners and exalt in heaven. He is different than the high priest of the old covenant.

Jesus will always be our high priest. He will always make intercession for us.

Jesus made an oath or promise when he became our high priest. His oath is good forever!

The old commandment is set aside with it's weakness and uselessness We have a new hope that causes us to draw near to God.

Jesus is a high priest from a different tribe. He is from the Order of Melchizedek.

Our heritage is blessed because we tithe. The tithe and it's blessing are not limited by time.

In this session we talk about tithing. We see that there is a blessing when people tithe.

Where does the tithe belong? That is what we will study in this session.

Melchizedek will always be a high priest. Jesus is Melchizedek.

Who is Melchizedek? That is what we will begin to study in this session. His name means the King of Righteousness, He is called the Prince of Salem and the high priest of the Most High God. But who is he?

Hope is the anchor of our souls. Believing that God will keep His promises produces a refuge that causes us to set our hope in Him.

God cannot lie. This fact brings us encouragement and hope.

There are tow things needed to receive what God has promised. They are faith and patience.

Because God promised it, it will happen. He will always keep His promise!

Luke desires that we have evidence that will bring us full assurance to the end. We should be imitators of Christ and not be sluggish.

Our salvation should show in the fruit of our lives. Fruit should accompany our salvation.

In these verse we see Luke talk about two types of soil. One bears fruit that is useful to God and the other bears weeds.

What does it mean to fall away? It means to purposely turn away from all that God has offered you in salvation.

The traits of a person who turns their back on their salvation. This person is a partaker of the Holy Spirit and has tasted the Word of God and the power of the age to come.
