Morning Manna

In today's episode I share a story about a ride that I had last Friday that inspired me, encouraged me and taught me many things.

Big things really do come in small packages. This is so true when it comes to words. Some of the most important, powerful, life-changing words are some of the smallest words in the English language. One of those words is the tiny word, “but.” Think about how that one word can change an entire life and an entire perspective in a moment.

In today's episode I share a fun story from my teenage years and winning tickets to a Beatles movie called Help. Psalm 46 reminds us that God is our helper. You and I need His help today. Let's press into Him now.

What are you afraid of today? As always but especially today there is horrible wickedness in our world and it can create fear in us. In today's Morning Manna I share from Psalm 37. Listen carefully and prayerfully to it and fret not.

There is so much power in words. May God use you today to bring words of encouragement and blessing to others and may your life be lifted up by God's words to us today.

I love Isaiah 41:10 - "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." No matter what you're facing today, there is a God who says; "I will take care of that."

Today's YouVersion verse of the day is 1 Timothy 2:5 -  For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father except by me. Yes... there is only one way to God. Let's talk about it on todays Morning Manna.

Today is the National Day of Prayer in America. Let's join our hearts together in prayer for revival and a great awakening in our nation and our world.

In today's episode I share a couple of rideshare stories and read over you Psalm 34. There is such joy and happiness when we trust the Lord. Be blessed today!

Be very careful in who you choose as friends, because if you walk with the wise, you'll become wise, but if you walk with the foolish, you're looking for trouble. Choose wisely!

I love the message of Psalm 18:2 - The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. He is all that and much more to you and I today.

One of the most important things you can do with dealing with your own struggles, is to find a focus on blessing others... helping to lift their burdens and cares.
