Morning Manna

Matthew 18:21-22 says this... "Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times." Let's talk about forgiveness on today's Morning Manna.

Do you know who you are? 1 Peter 2:9–10 says this... “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.” Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

Have you ever fasted? There are many verses in the Bible about fasting. Today's verse is Isaiah 58:6: “Is this not the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke?” Let's talk about fasting on today's Morning Manna.

Jesus said this in John 14:3–4: “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.” He is preparing a place for His children... the New Jerusalem! Are you ready?

Do you every experience distress or anxiety? Sure... we all do. Listen to what David did in those experiences in Psalm 120:1: “In my distress I cried to the LORD, and He heard me.” Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

Psalm 127:1: “Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.” Unless... we must trust God today to build our house, city, nation, and world. There is no other way. Let's trust Him for that today.

Waiting can certainly be tough at times. Psalm 130:5: “I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in His word I do hope.” What are you waiting for today and what promise in His Word are you relying on for faith and trust?

Psalm 143:11: “Revive me, O LORD, for Your name’s sake! For Your righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.” Make this your prayer today... we all need revival and renewal. Have a blessed day!

In today's episode I share with you a story with you about giving that I experienced last Friday. Luke 6:38 says this... "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” Make that your focus today!

My heart is burdened for the nation of Israel. Today I'm reading Psalm 122 and I encourage you to pray with me today for the peace of Jerusalem.

As we wrap our week for Morning Manna, enjoy a reading of Psalm 91. Take this truth into you heart and mind and trust Him explicitly.

Do you like secrets? Do you wish you know more about everything? Deuteronomy 29:29 says, “The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.” Let's trust Him with the secret things and focus on His truth revealed in His Word.

Lifeguards are special people who risk their lives to save the lives of others. James 5:19–20 says, “Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.” Perhaps we can be a lifeguard today.

2 Chronicles 16:9 says this... "For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him." I love the old song, His Eye is On the Sparrow... "and I know He watches me." His eyes are on you and I today. Look to Him for strength and faith.
