Post-Game Podcast - Episode #1: The Order 1886 Controversy
25/02/2015 Duration: 01h49minAfter a brief hiatus, hosts Marc Price & Corey Andress make a return to the podcasting scene with a brand new platform and show! On the very first episode of the Post-Game Podcast, the duo discuss the very polarizing release of Sony's PS4 exclusive, The Order: 1886. The guys talk about their impressions of the game, the hype and media scrutiny surrounding it, and ask if the criticisms of the title pre-release were warranted. They also examine if "hype cycles" affect how we view games upon release, and if we are too invested in these games as consumers. The crew also talk about their worst $60 purchases, the "safe for work" versions anyways, and also talk NBA trade deadline, with Marc trying to justify the existence of his Philadelphia 76ers. The first episode ends with a look at Telltale's big announcement of a TV/Game-hybrid "SuperShow", and a new "Blast Zone" in which Corey hammers the Canadian economy. The duo also take a look ahead at the show's plans and what they plan to do with the platform.
