Author Stephen Goddard spoke to John Burgess, Simon Lewis and Ian King on the News Hour to talk about his new novel, 'Rattles and Rosettes', that tells the story of two young football fans - a Burnley fan in 1914 who journeys down to the FA Cup Final at the old Crystal Palace and on to the trenches of Western Europe, and a Palace fan who goes through the different horrors of the administration season in 2010, leading to a one-man mission to change football back to the good old days before his time. Former Palace, Villa, Liverpool and Republic of Ireland winger Ray Houghton spoke to John Burgess, Simon Lewis and Ian King on the News Hour before two of his former clubs faced off in the Premier League, discussing how impressed he's been with Tony Pulis' side, why he made the Eagles the favourites for this game, and how important the commemorations of the 25th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster are to everyone in football.
