We're joined tonight by FieldGulls.com's resident cap expert on the Seattle Seahawks. He asked if he could come on to bust some common myths, and drop some additional knowledge on everyone. How is the offseason salary cap calculated? Ever wished you knew a quick trick to calculate your teams cap on a napkin? We go deep tonight, launching a probe into the "Canadian blood theory" with the man of the maple leaf, Jon Ryan. This won't be your normal interview, we will pull absolutely no punches tonight. The truth will come out. Who goes back for seconds in the cafeteria? Who is your favorite punter? Are you a dual citizen? How hard was the test to get US citizenship really? What's Canada like? This Sunday the Seattle Seahawks will go up against the prettiest passing game the NFL has ever seen. Peyton Manning shattered the NFL record for passing touchdowns in a season and also won the crown in terms of single season yardage. The Hawks' defensive backfield should prove to be a worthy opponent however... it looks to be one of the best matchups in some time. This week we'll welcome writer Jacson Bevens on to talk about the prospects of outdoor Superbowls in the future and get his thoughts on the game. Fieldgulls.com editor Danny Kelly will join us at 3:15 to share some X's and O's as well as to serve up his prediction on how to game will finish. This week the Seahawks face their new biggest opponent of the year. 60 minutes of football, and the San Fransisco 49ers left between them and the Superbowl. We'll run through last weeks 23-15 win over the New Orleans Saints, including but not limited to that really awful attempt at a latteral by Marques Colston. We'll cover the injury situation as it currently sits. KJ Wright and Percy Harvin are both still in major question, if not just straight doubtful. We'll have Jeff Vandersnick on to give us a view from the Bay Area. He's a staff writer for 49ers360.com so I'm certain he both knows a good bit about the team in red and gold, and doesn't care much for the Hawks. We also want to promote a really cool thing that's happening amongst the two teams fanbases. He'll try to talk Corax off a ledge after last week, or they'll jump off together... who knows I want to air my thoughts on Percy Harvin, quickly thought I promise. We spend much more time this week than we probably needed to on the Bucs game, but it's always nice to look back at games that are somewhat surprising and reflect a little. The Jonathan Martin saga down in Miami has been played out, with little new information coming out. We did want to ask the question though. Would he be a good fit on the Hawks? How likely is it? We speculate. We offer our thoughts on when Percy Harvin might return, along with some conversation on where he ranks in terms of importance to this team moving forward. Injury reports are covered as always.

Writing these posts is always kind of a chore, buuuut I know it's important to tell you what we talked about. It's sort of an advertisement. Like, "Hey look what's inside guys, it's really cool, you should listen to it! Talking about the Rams game was tough, not as tough as watching it was however. The Seahawks got the win though, so we're looking into the playoff picture some, checking in on other NFC squads vying for that home field advantage. Oh and Matt launches me into a rage filled rant about the No Fun League. I'm borderline ashamed of my language... This weeks Thursday Night Football matchup has a chance to be one of the better ones we've seen in a while, with the Bengals traveling to Miami. This week we preview last weeks matchup with the Cardinals, a game that was a full week ago. I can honestly say it was hard to remember parts of the game... which is both embarassing, and speaks to how the game went. We vented a little bit on the continued struggles at the offensive tackle spots, gloated some about last weeks keys to the game (they were pretty much spot on), and provided a public service announcement for the 12th man. Do not over-react when a player seems to be forgotten by Darrell Bevell. Mike Robinson returns! Sadly though, the Real Rob Report does not. All that plus a look ahead to Monday Night Football against the Rams! This week went a lot longer than we initially thought it would, things got packed! Don't worry, we still found time at the end for some goofing off.

The boys of summer are back again with week 7's own Twelves Company podcast. In an effort to make sure this bad boy gets posted on Wednesday night on account of the short week, we cut out a lot of extra talk. No worries, all the important stuff is covered. Looking back at the Titans game, we each give our opinions on what exactly went wrong on that last play of the first half... You know the one I'm talking about. Additionally, I'm pretty sure Ike references Justin Bieber? I don't remember exactly how that whole thing went down, but it was pretty embarrassing. There's a bit of conversation on the whole Browner vs Thurmond thing, we come away with surprisingly favorable views on Browner, I'd say. Finishing up this episode with a preview of the Cards game, what each one of us thinks needs to happen for the Hawks to come away winners, and as always, score predictions.
