The equestrian rider picked up a Gold medal as part of the Team Dressage, GB's first ever Gold in the event, whilst she added a bronze in the individual event, which was won by her fellow countryman Charlotte Dujardin. Team GB won 65 medals in total, with their 29 Golds allowing them to finish 3rd overall in the medal tables. It was GB's best Olympic performance since 1908.
