Sir Trevor Brooking has heralded the launch of the Budweiser Club Futures programme. The FA Cup's official sponsor will award grants of £50,000 to 16 non-league clubs over the next two years, including super grants of £100,000 to the two clubs who submit the best business plan on how to become a central focus of their local communities. The FA's Director of Football Development also believes The FA Cup has risen in prestige in recent seasons, with the world's most famous club cup competition serving as a platform for both the top teams and lower league clubs. Laura Bechtolsheimer reflects on both Team GB and her own personal medal haul during London 2012. The equestrian rider picked up a Gold medal as part of the Team Dressage, GB's first ever Gold in the event, whilst she added a bronze in the individual event, which was won by her fellow countryman Charlotte Dujardin. Team GB won 65 medals in total, with their 29 Golds allowing them to finish 3rd overall in the medal tables. It was GB's best Olympic performance since 1908.
