Jesus shares a story about an owner of a vineyard that may seem very unfair at first, but as we explore it, we find that this story beautifully captures the Kingdom of Heaven. 

 We dig into Jesus' parable about a treasure hidden in the field. 

 We take a look at a couple of parables that Jesus shares at a dinner with religious leaders. 

 Jesus responds to criticism He receives for His open welcome of broken and sinful people with beautiful stories of His heart to pursue that which is lost.  

We take a closer look at Jesus' story of a Pharisee's judgment and criticism of a repentant and prayerful tax collector. 

We consider the incredible significance of what's come to be known as The Watershed of the Parables, Jesus' Parable of the Sower.

Jesus uses an icon of work in order to illustrate rest in Him. True rest for our souls isn't a result of doing nothing, but it's found it being who we're meant to be and doing what we're meant to do.  

The kind of rest that Jesus offers in Matthew 11 is a very specific, and necessary rest that we all crave...rest for our souls. 

We consider an invitation that is similar to Jesus' invitation in Matthew 11, spoken through the prophet Isaiah. 

 Jesus offers us freedom from the overwhelming burden of a lifetime of self-salvation projects.

What do you do with the mad that you feel? And what do you do with the worry, anxiety and stress that we all do our best to manage. This is an incredibly important conversation about stepping out from under the impossibly heavy yoke of religion and under the yoke that Jesus offers each of us. 

 Embracing the journey and the process of becoming who it is that God's created us to be.  

Jesus is near the brokenhearted, through all the pain and struggles this life brings.  

An important conversation about the significance of unlearning all the things that get in the way of remembering who we truly are and what we have in Christ.  

 A conversation about the beautiful and scandalous old testament story of Hosea and Gomer.

We delve into Galatians 5:6, where the Apostle Paul proclaims that the reality that only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.  

A conversation about the beginning of Holy Week and Jesus' triumphal entry to Jerusalem. 

 We delve into the parable of the workers in the vineyard.
