I reached out within the More Mojo For Mums Facebook group and the love and support I received from the members just blew me away. Immediately people were replying asking if I was okay, suggesting different ways to look at the situation and people I could talk to for advice. It got me thinking about just how important my online communities are to me. Ever since starting Embrace Fertility I have found having a group of like-minded women on hand to understand and cheer me up invaluable. The 5 people you need So back to my basketball analogy.   • Appreciating our children’s fathers

    Today is the perfect day to focus on appreciating what your partner does to support you and your kids. Especially here in the UK it’s pretty standard to get into the really bad habit of listing all the things our partners don’t do. Hardly conducive for a happy relationship or encouraging them to support us more. We’ve all done it. Get a group of women together and before long the conversation is bound to include the oh so tempting ‘let’s list the ways in which my partner is sh*t.’ Let’s flip that on its head and share the things that we appreciate about our partners.   • Calm and Confident Mum Free Workshop this Sunday

    What I want most as a mum is to feel that I am doing the best that I can for my children. I want to feel confident in my actions and my decisions. I want to be able to remain calm and steady so that I can hold the space for my children and teach them by example. For months I’ve been really struggling with keeping my shit together let alone being the calm and confident mother I thought I would be. Since I’m a qualified therapist I thought I would get on and write a hypnosis track to support myself in becoming the mother I know I can be.
