Shawn began his career in the financial services industry in 2011. In 2021, he founded Dentist Exit Planning to provide fee-based financial planning only for dentists. Shawn is also the host of Dentists, Puns, and Money – a podcast focused on the business of dentistry and the financial lives of dentists. In 2020, Shawn authored a book – The Professional Practice Trap. It focuses on the problems faced by service firm owners, like dentists. Shawn lives in West Des Moines, IA with his wife and son. There, as a senior associate, she worked extensively in tax compliance and consulting services in both the financial and private-company service industries. She joined the CWA team in 2013. Brittany is a Certified Public Accountant an Investment Advisor Representative and a proud mommy to her two young sons. She founded CWA’s Women in Financial Planning organization in 2020, aimed to help professional women collaborate to reach success both in the workplace and home life. Dr. Mario Romero is the clinical director of Romero Dental Seminars. He received his DDS from the University of Guayaquil (Ecuador) School of Dentistry in 1995. He completed a two-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at the University of Rochester, Eastman Institute for Oral Health where he was granted the Handleman Award for Excellence. In 2016 Dr. Romero was awarded the Augusta University and the American College of Dentists Outstanding Faculty award for his achievements in scholarity, research and service. Barry E. LoSasso, M.D. was born in New York City and received his undergraduate degree from Yale University. He attended medical school at the University of Florida and completed his fellowship in pediatric surgery at Babies Hospital, Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in 1984. Dr. LoSasso started his pediatric surgical career practicing at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in San Diego, California. From there he opened his private practice in 1987, which continues today.
