Nearly Idiots

What began as an episode about the paranormal, took a turn rather quickly. Our first episode that is NSFW, depending on where you work I suppose. There are a bunch of people who believe in ghosts and of those people some believe they've had, ahem, intimate encounters. Adam cries from laughing. Buckle up.

Saddam had a stargate. There were no Beatles (the band). We've attempted to awaken the gods of Egypt. You believe in the moon, huh? Siri the soothsayer. Denver is the house of all the evil in the world. We're talking theories of the conspiracy variety and not those lame, run of the mill theories. We got the good stuff.

Oh boy. This is a fun one. We discuss time travel, stimulus checks, Tiger King, White Castle, gambling, 5G, Coronavirus conspiracy theories, Big Charmin, whether or not bears are real, and take sides on which country we are rooting for to listen to us the most. It's a hoot. 

It's a Corona catch-up (...ketchup) with Devin and Adam. There's a lot discussed in this one including but not limited to; anime, video games, movies/tv, social distancing, Jesus eggs, and hermaphroditic rabbits. It's a real mixed bag. 

It's all Devin, all the time. I'm sorry in advance. The show must go on! Maybe you're quarantined, maybe your self-isolating, maybe you are a hermit anyway. Regardless, I was curious about quarantining and the history behind it. That led me down a might Typhoid-y rabbit hole.

Well, what else is there to talk about, really? It is the start to a brand new season which means...well, not a lot actually. But it is easier to catalog our stuff and it means that a new member joins the program as one goes away for a little bit. I'm particularly sad about that last part. 

It's the end of Season 1!!! Here's a look back at all of the best bits of what was our inaugural season. It was a marathon editing session, but we're sequestered inside, so what else is there to do? I really hope you all enjoy!

I'll be honest with you gals and guys, we recorded this episode a while ago and I did little to no editing. Primarily because we're about to drive for a few hours and wanted to listen to a new episode. That said, it's long. I will probably end up taking it down, condensing and re-uploading when I have time, but for now, here you go! This is also the penultimate episode in the season. But fear not! Season 2 begins recording March 19th!! Huzzah!

It's Halloween! We talk about origins, candy, costumes, and discover what monster Adam and Torri are. Meanwhile, Devin talks about the iconic mask worn by Michael Myers in the movie Halloween and how it's not exactly what you would expect. Stay spooky!

Let's talk about what really peeves us off. Torri, Devin and Adam discuss mouth noises, traffic, and relationship pet peeves among others. There are plenty of peeves to go around.

In this very sincere and somber episode we ask each other just how much of a basic white girl we are, what are some family traditions each of us have and discover Torri's fantasy of lion jousting.

Oh, you got jokes? Well...we do. Some are old, like 2300 b.c. old and don't really hold up. Adam tells us about the different genres of humor and Torri wants to talk gender roles and humor. It's one of our funniest episodes yet. By default.

In this episode Torri and the boys talk about video games and their relationship to real world violence. Devin has his mind blown. Be sure to stick around to the very, very end for a little bit of bonus content that I didn't want to leave on the cutting room floor. Enjoy!

Why the grim reaper? What is the actual definition of death? Does anyone remember playing the game "telephone" more vividly than Adam? Is a rat-tail haircut more classy than a mullet? This episode is about death, right? Right? Right.
