He’s working with both Milwaukee County and the Medical College of Wisconsin, and is an experienced emergency room doctor. The Milwaukee Business Journal also recognized Weston as a public health leader in this year’s Health Care Champions  program.     Global Brigades is the largest student-funded humanitarian organization, and was started by Marquette University students in 2003. Most recently, it launched a for-profit spinoff, Eskala, which is a microfinance company focused on breaking the cycle of poverty through banking.
