In this podcast, Dr. Emily Lauer, the Director of the Center for Developmental Disabilities Evaluation and Research, or CDDER, at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver Center, discusses health outcomes and the current state of care for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). These podcasts, excerpted from an August 2022 webinar, discuss strategies for providing coordinated care for individuals with I/DD, including person-centered medical assessment considerations for individuals with I/DD, risk stratification strategies to drive interventions, and family or caregiver support, education, and outreach.
