Sunday, August 28, 2022 – We are continuing our study of Revelation. We finished Chapter 19, which is known as one of the most “exciting” chapters, namely the “Hallelujah Chorus” of the NT, and now we are looking at Chapter 20, which is known as one of the “greatest” chapters of the bible. This chapter is also known as one of the most debated chapters as there are three major perspectives on what this 1000-year period is. There is the “amillennial”, “postmillennial,” and “premillennial” viewpoint. We present a brief discussion of all three. We focus today on verses 1-3 after we set the context of what it means to believe in a “premillennial” viewpoint as that’s the belief we hold to.
