Center Point Assembly

Sunday, May 15, 2022 – The message today is about the “Parable of the Wedding Banquet”. This is one a few parables that Jesus spoke specifically to the Jewish people and leaders of his day calling them into a relationship with Him as the promised Messiah. It’s unfortunate that they repeatedly refused His invitation and thankfully Jesus extended that invitation to the gentiles. For this reason, this parable and others speak directly to us today. There are some really important elements that we discuss. One is the willful refusal is one of personal choice. It’s not that the invited couldn’t accept the invitation, it’s simply that they wouldn’t. Another is the importance of accepting and wearing the “wedding garments” that the king provides. We will see that the garments represent the righteousness that comes from the forgiveness of our sin. I pray you listen in and worship and study with us. Be blessed…
